We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Waterproofing Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing plans and specifications and preparing bids for waterproofing work within the interior construction industry. You will need to stay abreast of industry trends, new regulations, and best practices while managing a high-volume workload and tight deadlines with precision and accuracy.
Position Overview: The Waterproofing Estimator will be responsible for providing accurate and detailed estimates on waterproofing projects for our interior construction clients. This individual will also need to have a solid understanding of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Review plans and specifications for waterproofing projects
Use On Screen Takeoff (OST) for estimating projects
Utilize historical data to accurately estimate materials and labor costs
Generate detailed bids that include labor, materials, and necessary subcontractors
Analyze bids and contracts to ensure accuracy and competitiveness
Research industry trends and best practices for waterproofing
Follow up with clients on bids and answer any questions they may have
Create reports and summaries for management
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in waterproofing estimation
Experience with On Screen Takeoff (OST) or other automated bidding software
Working knowledge of interior construction industry standards and regulations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong written and verbal communication skills
