As the VP of Finance, you will work directly with the Founder and CEO. Among many challenging objectives, you will be responsible for building out the required FP&A infrastructure to help fast track this company's growth.

What You Will Be Doing
This position will be the right hand to the CEO and Executive Management team. You will be responsible for managing the FP&A team to perform the day to day operations of our finance department including financial reporting, financial planning & analysis, strategic deal analysis, cash management and coordination of our Business Services.
Here you will get to:
Own the monthly financial close involves coordination with various departments across the company, review of P&L, balance sheet and supporting schedules. Also includes analytical review of all revenue streams, margin costs, marketing, investments and overhead with explanation of variances between results and projections.
Lead the financial operations for all portfolio companies including: accounting, FP&A, payroll, tax, compliance, cash management, etc.
Provide M&A due diligence support and leading financial integrations post close.
Discover and implement opportunities to improve financial operations at portfolio companies.
Manage external financial relationships w/investors, bank partners, auditors, etc.
Lead the team in budget process and financial forecasting
supervise the preparation of the annual budget and monthly forecasts.
Get involved in strategic deal analysis
Perform deal analysis with Business Affairs and analysis of existing joint venture and participation agreements, including review of related statements prepared by corporate business services.
Responsible for ensuring proper internal controls are implemented.
What You Need for this Position
Is a current or former CPA, or has significant accounting chops.
BA/BS in Finance, MBA is a +
Has 10+ years of executive level finance experience leading an organization through time-sensitive and stressful initiatives such as acquisitions, divestitures, and financings.
Has experience leading ERP migrations/integrations.
Have strong financial and analytical capabilities an intuitive, strategic thinker.
Strong management skills and effective communication abilities.
Be comfortable with senior level executives across different areas of the company.
Be a highly organized person who thrives in a fast paced, ever transforming work environment.
Possess strong multi-tasking abilities.
Have experience managing a financial reporting team, works well with change and is a team player.
Can accurately forecast a businesses cash flow.
Does not mind extensive travel.
Has worked at a retailer with multiple subsidiaries.
