What You Will Be Doing
We are experience extreme growth and due to new business opportunities, we need to replace some partner house on the substantive tax/audit work.
Your responsibilities will include, but won't necessarily be limited to:
- Individual Tax Preparation
- Business Tax Return Preparation
- Gift & Estate Tax Return Preparation
- Partnerships, Corporate Tax Returns
- Tax & Education Planning, Estate and Succession Planning
- Out-of-state returns and Business start-ups
- Tax Audits, IRS Tax Problem Assistance and more
We use Lacerte and QuickBooks, but experience in any tax software along with computer and internet savvy will be sufficient to be successful in this role.
What You Need for this Position
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Similar
- CPA
- Tax Manager experience or Senior Tax Accounting on track for manager
- Tax Accounting experience (Individual, Business, Estate, Partnerships, Corporate Tax Returns)
- Tax Audits
- Tax Accounting Software Experience - Lacerte or similar
- QuickBooks, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Internet Savvy
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- Self-motivated, self-starter who is able to work independently as well as with a team
- Willing and able to travel as needed (once it is safe to do so)
- Willing and able to meet with clients within the area as needed
- Someone looking to join a growing firm, hit the ground running, and make an impact from day one
