We are seeking an experienced Modeling & Simulation Systems Engineer with clearance (or eligible, but active clearance is contingent to start) to join us asap!
Required experience and background in DDG (Navy Ship Destroyer programs) or CVN (aircraft carrier, fixed wing, nuclear powered) platforms with knowledge on cyber attack modeling and systems modeling.
What You Will Be Doing
In this key role, we are seeking the talented candidate that has experience and background in DDG or CVN platforms with knowledge on cyber attack modeling and systems modeling.
Provide software life cycle support following System Engineering Process (SEP) using applicable (CMMI) Capability Maturity Model Integrated and ieee standards and specifications.
-Develop and modify control system cybersecurity software and hardware solutions.
-Develop and modify computer code in the following languages: C/C++, C#, Java, Visual Basic, MATLAB and other high level languages.
-Establish methodologies for capturing and managing data associated with complex integrated HM&E, Combat, Navigation, and C4I systems.
-Develop and/or modify logical data models enabling and enforcing concordance and mapping between system, subsystem, interface, mission thread, process, and other data sets.
-Develop and/or modify logical data models that store data elements to support data call responses cybersecurity assessments, and engineering change evaluations.
-Develop data models and simulations to capture the attributes of threats targeting critical systems.
-Conduct systems and data research in support of development of data models and simulations.
-Modify and use databases
-Research the application of M&S techniques as applicable to critical systems and/or cybersecurity, as well as specific data models, to acquisition, engineering, and logistics support applications and develop associated data management and reporting capabilities.
-Support development of requirements for and support the application of a collaborative data modeling environment for both stand-alone users and remote access users at multiple classifications.
What You Need for this Position
Required experience and background in DDG (Navy Ship Destroyer programs) or CVN (aircraft carrier, fixed wing, nuclear powered) platforms with knowledge on cyber attack modeling and systems modeling.
-Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance
-At least 2 years of professional experience developing software using one or more high-level languages such as C/C++ or Java.
-Strong experience and at least 5 years ++ within industry as a systems engineer, electrical, computer and/or electronics engineer
-At least 1 ++ years experience with MATLAB, SIMULINK, R, Python, or other analytical programming language
-1 ++ yrs. developing in Algorithm development applying Machine Learning and/or Knowledge Representation & Reasoning (KR&R) tools, techniques, and/or
-1 ++ years experience developing or applying Semantic Web technologies: Web Ontology Language (WOL) and Resource Description Framework (RDF)
