What You Will Be Doing
You will support the wide-spread implementation of our experimentation and learning strategy! We are a close knit team focused on helping our organization better understand user behavior. This role could be your next big challenge and we are ready to welcome you on board!
What You Need for this Position
Who you are:
- A resolute problem solver and strategist!
- Comfortable having a lot of autonomy
- 10+ years of engineering experience with scalable distributed systems
- Background working on an experimentation team for an internet experimentation platform
- Writing and shipping production level code with Java, Scala, or JVM
- Exposure to very large collections of digital data and experience debugging along the way
- Experience with Hadoop, Spark
- Awareness of Realtime metrics like Pinot or Druid, along with SQL
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to stream processing on a large scale with Beam, Flink, or Storm
- Understanding of GCP or other related tools
