We are a funded (200 Mill) robotics and autonomous technology company that has been in business for over 20 years that's looking to IPO soon! We are transforming government and commercial transportation with programs that include self-driving cars and trucks; autonomous shuttles; UAV; UAS; and drones. *Hybrid remote potentially available after on-site training (number of days TBD).

What You Need for this Position

Ability to obtain Secret government clearance
C++
Linux
Some wireless network experience or understanding: networking services, TCP/IP, UDP/IP, OSI Model
Middle-ware technologies, socket, multi-threaded programming, and/or POSIX API
DDS
B.S. degree in Computer Science or related field (e.g., mathematics or applied mathematics)
Delay Tolerant Networking (DTN) is huge plus
Java (Plus)
ZeroMQ (Plus)
Kafka (Plus)
Network administrative role (Plus)

What You Will Be Doing

Designing and implementing software using C++ in a Linux environment
Implementing communications infrastructure to synchronize information across distributed assets in support of intelligent planning, coordination, and control of troop/asset movements and courses of action
Interfacing with databases and large-scale distributed mesh networks using leading-edge technology
Documenting algorithms, preparing technical reports, presenting results, and demonstrating system capabilities
Some domestic travel will be required
