What You Will Be Doing
- Build a portfolio of tech and data opportunities with internal and external partners including grantees, investment portfolio businesses, and others in the education ecosystem.
- Establish metrics for evaluating our portfolio's influence.
- Manage the product portfolio's vision and strategy based on company goals, demographics, and data.
- Conduct user research and incorporate input and design concepts into product development.
- Plan and prioritize : deliver products and features on time and on budget while keeping excellent quality and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure that all parts of product creation, testing, iteration, and maintenance are overseen by a team of technical experts.
- Make sure our project and product pipelines are in sync with our goals and key outcomes, both current and future (OKRs).
What You Need for this Position
- This is a hybrid position, and candidate must be in Palo Alto, San Francisco, or New York.
- Product development and/or product management experience in the educational industry for at least 4 years.
- Success in driving the product development lifecycle, from conception to execution and launch.
- Passionate about analyzing and synthesizing data in order to create useful resources that can be used by others.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional atmosphere with competing agendas.
- Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and writing.
- Ability to deliver presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences with a strong presence.
- Intuitive and adept at simplifying difficult concepts into manageable tasks.
- Easily create, manage, and report on product OKRs.
- Understands basic software development principles including continuous integration and standard procedures.
- Extensive knowledge of Agile methodologies, product, project and collaboration tools
- Ability to work across various time zones.
