$120k - $150k per year (DOE)

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or other related engineering discipline
A strong understanding of electronics and their relationship to software, firmware, and mechanical interfaces and operation in a number of electrical specialties.
OSHA electrical safety work practices
Hands-on electro-mechanical repair or assembly experience.
Proven teamwork, collaboration, and leadership skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A firm knowledge of electrical product safety.
Previous experience in working with NFPA 70, API 16D, API 17G, and API 17F preferred.
Software Tool Suite: Autocad, Solidworks, Modbus, Canbus, Power Electronics.
Perform troubleshooting and circuit analysis of digital, analog and power circuits.
Develop specifications and test requirements that drive product design.
Provide guidance for designers, and other engineers, on design tasks as needed on tasks of moderate complexity.
Collaborate with product group mechanical and electrical engineers on detailed design work, and work with project and business development groups on product research, definition, and development.
Drive continuous improvement and best practices by evaluating industry tools and techniques, then collaborating with the team to discuss implementation.
Ensure the controls systems designs are compliant with stakeholder expectations and defining industry standards.
Identify and incorporate job specific client requirements into new and existing controls systems.
Manage asset documentation and assigned Master Document Registers.
Create, review, and approve schematics/drawings, procedures, and specifications.
Act as lead engineer for controls systems integration onto job specific client vessels.
Support verification and validation programs for controls related equipment.
Analyze new and existing designs for reliability, serviceability, maintenance, and handling.
Communicate product and process improvements to production engineering on equipment design, test procedures, and documentation requirements.
Oversee the mobilization and demobilization of controls system assets.
Work alongside controls technicians during equipment remediation, maintenance, and testing activities.
Develop Control System service personnel training requirements, and materials.
Interface with third party departments and vendors to ensure all project deliverables are met.
Perform engineering duties at customer sites, or offshore when required.
