Job Title: Senior CEQA/NEPA Project Planner

We are a leading Environmental Services firm that implements Environmental Engineering and Compliance solutions for our clients throughout California. Our mission is to solve environmental compliance problems for industrial and governmental/infrastructure facilities
We are looking for an experienced CEQA/NEPA Project Manager/Planner to join our Southern California team in any one of our offices (San Juan Capistrano, Diamond Bar, Long Beach, Ventura, Riverside, Los Angeles, San Diego).
You will be responsible for performing professional scientific work and managing CEQA/NEPA services for the company, especially developing and producing technical studies and reports for various CEQA/NEPA documents. You will also be responsible for directing and preparing all or portions of Initial Studies/Negative Declarations (IS/ND), Mitigated Negative Declarations (MND), Environmental Impact Reports (EIR), Environmental Assessments (EA), and Environmental Impact Statements (EIS). Our CEQA/NEPA practice currently focuses on preparing the Air Quality, Greenhouse Gas (GHG), and/or Noise Technical Reports and/or sections of MNDs and EIRs, but we are expanding our services to prepare CEQA/NEPA studies.
You will need at least 10+ years of experience with:
- Environmental Permitting and Compliance (preferably in consulting)
- CEQA Project Management
- CEQA/NEPA Air Quality, Odor, and GHG/Climate Change Studies/Reports
- CEQA Air and/or Noise Studies such as CalEEMod, EMFAC, OFFROAD
- Preparing MND/EIR/EA/EIS Analyses, Reports, and Chapters
- California Environmental Reporting System (CERS)
Bachelor's Degree in Urban Planning, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Science, or related discipline is required.
Compensation: $120-180k base DOE
