We are looking for an experienced Senior accountant with high energy and someone who takes initiative to join our team in the Greater Phoenix, AZ area. In this position, you'll Analyze financial data and create financial reports using accounting concepts. Keep track of or be in charge of the accounts and documentation related to income, expenses, taxes, and disbursements. Oversee the general ledger and chart of accounts, as well as the monthly closure procedure.

What You Will Be Doing
-Gather and examine financial data in order to keep track of transactions, provide reports, and ensure accuracy.
-Create journal entries and reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
-Create the cash flow statement, balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other accounting schedules and reports.
-Keep track of the Fixed Assets Ledger and any ensuing depreciation plans.
-According to widely accepted accounting rules, document, categorize, and summarise financial events and transactions (GAAP).
-For the purpose of an audit, prepare and arrange any supporting documentation.
-To assure accuracy, generate reports, and monitor transactions, collect and review financial data.
-Make daily, weekly, and monthly journal entries and reports.
-Make the balance sheet, profit and loss statement, cash flow statement, and other accounting schedules and reports.
-Observe the Fixed Assets Ledger and any subsequent preparations for depreciation.
-Document, classify, and summarize financial events and transactions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
-Prepare and arrange any supporting documentation for the purpose of an audit.
What You Need for this Position
At least 3+ years of experience with:
-Senior Accounting
-General Ledger
- A/R & A/P
-Fixed Asset
-JD Edwards or similar ERP System
-Bachelor's in Accounting or related field
-Experience in manufacturing industry
