Remote Solar Sr PM - Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Remote Senior Project Manager with a strong background in Utility sized solar and Battery storage projects. The Sr. PM will be responsible for managing solar projects of varying sizes from start to finish in a managerial role with very little travel. This role requires a proactive individual with strong organizational and problem-solving skills and an ability to interact effectively with team members and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Help with looking for new sites, work with owners, planning, helping grow a portfolio of current projects
• Effectively manage project progress, resources, and financials
• Identify and resolve risks and issues throughout the project
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers
• Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and internal teams
• Manage subcontractors and vendors as needed
• Ensure all projects are completed on time and on budget
• Monitor project performance and provide regular project updates as needed
Qualifications:
• (Not required) Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of experience in Solar and or BESS
• 5+ years of Project Management experience
• Proven ability to work effectively remotely
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
• Strong knowledge of Megawatts, utility solar, and large scale solar projects (20MW+ preferred)
