Title: Senior Ruby on Rails Developer
Location: 100% Remote
Salary: $160,000-200,000 (DOE)

This is a full time, permanent position on a 100% remote basis. We are based in Silicon Valley but our employees are remotely distributed all across the United States.

What You Will Be Doing
As a Senior Engineer on our platform team, you will have significant responsibility, owning code that moves billions of dollars. You will be instrumental in building the next generation of internal tools and services
What You Need for this Position
Must Haves:
-5+ years of experience working with Rails
-Strong command of Ruby and Rails (with an understanding of the boundaries between them)
-Experience working in a large codebase and communicating about code
-The ability to make practical decisions with good judgment when faced with design constraints
-A commitment to writing well-tested code that considers security, performance, and resilience
-To show respect and support for team members of all levels and backgrounds, with openness to both teaching and learning
Nice to Haves:
-FinTech, payments, financial applications, or any industry experience subject to government regulation
-MySQL at scale
-AWS infrastructure
-Containers
-Modularizing monolithic applications
-Design patterns that support long-term sustainability
-Solving complex performance problems, especially in ActiveRecord
