Process Engineer - Manufacturing/Industrial Engineer, Lean, SPC

We are currently seeking a Process Engineer/Industrial Engineer with a background implementing process improvements, cost/time/labor savings and who can help to integrate and spearhead lean initiatives throughout our manufacturing environment.

This work will be spread throughout various processes happening at the plant, from assembly, to welding/fabrication, painting, you name it...we are looking for someone with a solid ability to take a look at these processes and to not only help identify opportunities for time/cost savings, but who can effectively communicate to the various teams/team leaders about these opportunities.

This role needs to be able to communicate OPPORTUNITIES for improvement, not BLAME for a lack of optimum efficiency, and thus a good personality/attitude and excellent communication skills are of paramount importance.

We are looking for a Degreed engineer ( Industrial, manufacturing, other Engineering Bachelors degree) with a manufacturing profile, but with a the mechanical ability to work with SOLIDWORKS, but also previous experience with AutoCAD software and 3D Autodesk Inventor ( in an ideal situation) are also useful skills.

PLEASE NOTE - we will also consider those WITHOUT a 4-year degree, with relevant skills and abilities.
We are also looking for those with experience implementing lean manufacturing principles, and those who have a background with motion analysis and line balancing to improve labor efficiency.
A strong commitment and ability to provide solutions for cost and efficiency savings is what we are looking to see here.
We are also looking for strong communication and documentation skills, a strong team player, and those who can work effectively while juggling multiple tasks and priorities.
