What You Will Be Doing
- Reviews closed mortgage files to determine the quality, to make sure closing instructions are met, and that all documents were sent back with the closing package.
- Once reviewed, transfers loans to servicing. Prepares files and/or notes to be shipped to secondary markets, government agencies, or service released investor.
- Reviews files with a purchase checklist to verify loan qualifies for purchase.
- Monitors post closing pipeline to maintain a quick turn time on fundings.
- Backs up closing functions when necessary.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
What You Need for this Position
- 2+ years prior experience in mortgage loan post closing
- Experience with all loan types (Conventional, FHA, USDA, and VA)
- Experience and knowledge in the mortgage industry.
- Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to complete projects within a tight time-frame.
- A high school education or GED.
