My client's DE team is looking to bring on a fast-paced, high performing Processor to their team. Everyone is working remotely right now, but ideally they are looking for a hybrid candidate that would work remotely part of the week and in office in either Rockville or Annapolis the other part.
What You Need for this Position
Five years (preferred) of processing a significant volume of residential mortgage loans underwritten to FNMA, FHLMC and other secondary market conduits; processing experience of FHA, VA, and RD loans preferred.
Technical Knowledge and Skills
Knowledge of applicable lending regulation, compliance, and standard mortgage processing duties
Experience working with DU, LP, GUS and other applicable automated underwriting engines
Working knowledge of the encompass origination platform is a plus
Aptitude to work independently as well as part of a team
Excellent customer service skills with high attention to detail
What You Will Be Doing
Gathers verifies, compiles and analyzes mortgage loan application information provided by various conduits resulting in complete, accurate and timely loan packages presented to our underwriter and closer
Contacts third-party service provider to order and coordinate necessary services in a timely manner
Process conventional, FHA, VA, and RD loans to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as underwriting guidelines from FHLMC, FNMA, MI Companies, and other conduits.
Review and analyze appraisal, credit, income and purchase contracts
Keep current with changes in underwriting standards and maintain up to date information
