The Encompass Administrators primary role will be to provide technical support for end users through the Encompass Support ticket desk. In addition, when time permits, and under the team direction of the Senior Encompass Administrator, this individual may be assigned to Encompass projects initiated by any number of company business units. Individuals in this role should already possess working knowledge & experience with the Encompass 360 Banker Loan Origination System.
What You Will Be Doing
-Demonstrate a sound working knowledge of Ellie Maes Encompass Banker Loan Origination System (also known as -Encompass by Ellie Mae). Retail Mortgage experience preferred but not required.
-Demonstrate an understanding of the mortgage loan origination process.
-Create and maintain company end user setups, personas and roles under the guidance of the Senior Encompass Administrator.
-Provide support for help desk requests from internal users while troubleshooting issues - accelerating items to Senior Encompass Administrator and Ellie Mae technical support as needed.
-Develop working relationships with support department at Ellie Mae including professional services group, Mavent, and other compliance affiliated service departments. Be familiar with opening cases.
-Demonstrate analytical skills.

-Demonstrate an agility to solve problems.
-Good interpersonal skills required for interaction with Loan Officers and Business Units, with an emphasis on remaining steady in all types of circumstances.
-Demonstrate curiosity to learn.
-Ability to learn how to determine and communicate risk of change when analyzing requirements and developing solutions.
-Exhibit dexterity in handling multiple Encompass Help Desk tickets while effectively managing time.
-Ability and willingness to learn interfacing systems to Encompass, and how to troubleshoot those types of issues.
-Demonstrate understanding of all types of Encompass business rules, forms and tools, milestones, personas, roles, and eFolder setup functions, including documents and all condition types.
-Design, document, and implement project solutions by creating/modifying system workflows, Loan Templates, Custom Input Forms, Custom Print Forms, Pipeline Views and Reports for small projects when assigned, under the direction of the Senior Encompass Administrator.
-Basic coding of codebase assemblies within Encompass using VB.Net
-Participate in testing and implementation of Encompass Release upgrades.
-Ensure appropriate company and departmental Change Control and operational procedures are followed for all production-related updates.
-Be clear & precise in representing ticket resolution with documented artifacts.
What You Need for this Position
-Minimum 3 years experience administering Encompass Banker LOS for a medium to large user base (200-499 users). Retail mortgage preferred.
-Working experience of Encompass Administration Settings, including but not limited to: Business Rules, Triggers, Forms, Personas, Workflows, Conditions.
-Ability to read, understand, interpret and change existing business rules, triggers, workflows and processes.
-1+ years understanding and interpreting plugin code
-1+ years VB.Net coding experience on code base assemblies
-Possess a professional emotional intelligence level to be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams at all levels throughout the organization.
-Ability to communicate clearly, both written and verbally, to diverse levels of team members.
-Innate ability to function in a team environment and embrace its diversity.
-Willing to support release upgrade implementations during non-business hours.
-Willing to support Held Desk operations during non-typical business hours, which may include an occasional holiday, for peak business periods.
-Knowledge of other Ellie Mae products LO Connect, Consumer Connect, Investor Connect
-Achievement of Certified Encompass Administrator status
-Knowledge of the major Mortgage peripheral systems such as Optimal Blue, Consumer Connect, Data Connect, Salesforce CRM
