What You Will Be Doing
In this role, the you will have the opportunity to perform test, turn, and troubleshooting of complex military RF microwave hybrid assemblies. Duties include testing units over temperature and putting units into burn-in ovens. Testing is performed using standard, specialized, manual and automated test equipment to specified acceptance test procedures. Performs test and troubleshooting in accordance with established test procedures. Specific responsibilities will be:
1.) Set-up, test, align and troubleshoot microwave hybrid circuits from .01 to 40.0 GHz
2.) Recognizes, verifies and solves complex failures and set-up problems
3.) Follow test procedures or verbal instructions to perform assigned duties and meet production schedule
What You Need for this Position
MUST HAVES:
1.) ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE
2.) Familiar with scalar and spectrum analyzers; pulse generators; oscilloscopes, network analyzers and other RF/microwave test instruments
3.) Able to align, test and troubleshoot microwave or hybrid circuits under a microscope utilizing and tools such as tweezers
4.) Able to read complex schematics and block diagrams
NICE TO HAVES:
1.) Familiar with low noise amplifiers, pin diode switches, filters and oscillators
2.) Familiar with ATE
3.) 5+ years of experience in test and measurement as an RF/microwave technician
4.) Experience in testing digital and/or analog subsystems
5.) Familiar working in an ESD or FOD controlled environment
6.) Experience working on military products in AS9100/ISO 9001 environments
