What You Will Be Doing
Engineering Technician to assist its engineering and production teams at its Bedford, MA location. This new role will require the candidate to perform a variety of tasks related to the companys manufacture of x-ray detectors and associated data acquisition systems.
- Provide the production team with problem-solving skills in debugging PCB assemblies
- Diagnosing and correcting customer returns
- Configuring boards
- Maintaining custom-built test and assembly equipment
- Assist the engineering department in testing and debugging new electronic assemblies
- Assist in evaluating x-ray detectors
What You Need for this Position
Education and Qualifications:
- 2+ years in a manufacturing environment
- Associate degree or the equivalent in a related technical discipline is a plus
- Soldering skills, including surface mount components
- Debugging PCBs to find missing components, broken traces, poor connections
- Troubleshoot electronics with oscilloscope, meters, power supplies
- Troubleshoot electromechanical assemblies
