Job Title: Controller
Location: Rocky Mount, NC
Salary: $85,000 - $120,000
THIS IS AN ON SITE ROLE
Based in Rocky Mount we are a leading manufacturer of tray sealers, over wrappers, flow wrappers, weigh-price-labelers, case scales and horizontal-form-fill-seal machinery. Due to growth and demand for our services, we are in need of hiring for a Controller that possesses strong experience with job costing, labor utilization, budget, and financial reporting.
Responsibilities:
Follow corporate requirements for the job costing procedure, budget, and accounting policies.
Examine statistical information to determine operational effectiveness and profitability.
Organize financial projections and budget preparation.
Team members in accounting should receive coaching and evaluation.
Examine orders to ensure revenue recognition complies with ASC 606
Organize financial reporting and month-end closure duties.
Keep track of fixed assets and provide justification for capital purchases.
To ensure project cost accuracy, perform a work costing analysis.
Verify adherence to tax regulations and filing obligations.
Oversee the upkeep of commercial information systems including ERP.
Work together as a financial resource with departments.
Supervise the processing of A/R invoices and disbursements.
Create and oversee the workforce and budget for the accounting department.
Organize payroll administration with the business group.
Exercise leadership to promote successful expansion
Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Accounting and Finance
7+ years of experience in the manufacturing industry
Background in financial analysis
Experience with ERPs such Syteline
