Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Superintendent to join our team to oversee all aspects of the construction project, ensuring that quality standards are met and the project is completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Establishing procedures to ensure the project runs smoothly and efficiently
Ensuring all project documents are accurate and up to date
Overseeing construction activities and reporting progress to the project team
Scheduling and monitoring the delivery of materials and supplies
Liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
Resolving conflicts and providing technical and administrative support
Taking proactive steps to ensure safety standards are met
Adhering to all local, state and federal regulations and building codes
Maintaining accurate records and daily logs of all work performed
Investigating and documenting any discrepancies or deviations from plans
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Construction Management or related field
5+ years of experience in Construction Administration, Superintendent experience and/or Commercial Construction
Strong organizational and communication skills
Knowledge of commercial construction processes, methods, and materials
Knowledge of relevant building codes and regulations
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Computer literacy with experience in using MS Office and Project Management software
