You will lead, architect, and create the systems and processes that have an influence on the Sales, Orders, Finance, and Support teams as a senior member of our Business Systems Engineering team. This position is essential to the company's ability to scale since your decisions and efforts will have a significant impact on the systems and procedures that power our business. These systems enable roughly 1,000 users to accomplish their jobs effectively.
What You Will Be Doing
- Create incredible tools with the support of the business systems software engineers to aid in the expansion of the business.
- In team projects and efforts, guide the other engineers.
- Use a range of programming languages, such as Python, Apex, Groovy, SuiteScript, Javascript, and more, to create software.
- Choose when to use pre-existing tools or external solutions instead of starting from scratch.
- Integrate third-party software; you aren't hesitant to carry out an entire project by yourself.
- Support numerous departments' business needs while prioritizing tasks based on cost and impact.
- To connect our product data with our go-to-market and fulfillment systems, closely collaborate with the Product Software Engineering team.
- You should feel at ease picking up new systems and APIs rapidly so that you can decide whether or not to
What You Need for this Position
- Technical bachelor's degree from a reputable institution is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in your field
- Process and operational thinking allow you to independently attack a problem, iterate swiftly to a solution, and then document it in a style that is clear to all audiences (especially non-technical ones).
- Pay close attention to the details since you'll need to be able to scope out a project using the specifications provided by the end user, locate all the resources needed to finish the project, and work with other team members to see it through to completion.
- 2+ years of Salesforce platform work experience
- Experience from a previous tech startup or corporation is a bonus.
