Job Title: AutoCAD Drafter
Location: Tempe, AZ
Salary: $40-50K DOE
Requirements: AutoCAD, Wood/Metal Drafting and Design
Based in Tempe, AZ, we are a specialty vehicle upfitter that that provides specialty vehicle upfit services to a wide variety of customers, from Public Outreach, Medical, and Commercial to Animal Units, Public Safety, GSA Vehicles and more. We also have a Trailers division in Phoenix.
We are looking for an AutoCAD Drafter to create drawings from both existing working templates and from hand sketches.
What You Will Be Doing
- Create, edit, and design, structural, wiring diagrams and/or control drawings to meet specifications utilizing Autodesk AutoCAD
- Designs and Drafts component parts in both metal and wood working
- 3D drawings for CNC machines utilizing V-Carve software
- Develops drawings from existing working templates (metal or wood)
- Create original drawings from hand sketches
- AutoCAD LT and V-Carve 3D designer with associated digital file libraries on the network
- Classify and file drawings - digital or hardcopy
- Convert .DWG format files to .PDF for use within the operations
- Work with the Sales & Marketing assistant to develop CAD drawings for Website uploading, Marketing
flyers and Brochures

What You Need for this Position
Qualifications:
- AAS in CAD or similar
- AutoCAD LT 2010 +
- V-Carve a bonus
- Metal and/or wood components
- Bonus - Vehicle, Trailer, or similar experience
