The Tax Accountant will provide specialized professional services in the area of taxation. The Tax Accountant will be responsible for the preparation and review of tax returns for partnerships, individuals, corporations, and other entities. They will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
The Tax Accountant will be expected to maintain a high level of technical tax knowledge, and will advise clients on complex tax matters. They should have a strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS). They will work closely with clients to identify tax saving opportunities, and ensure that the firms clients are paying the minimum tax required by law.
