What You Will Be Doing
In this role, you will play a key role in organizing, supervising, and completing commercial and multifamily projects. Your technical expertise and ability to manage multidisciplinary teams will help them produce outstanding outcomes that go above and beyond the requirements of our clients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leadership and oversight of the architectural design process from start to finish
- Manage project teams to ensure effective collaboration and coordination throughout all phases of the project.
- Lead and coach emerging architects, assisting in their development as professionals
- Serve as the client's main point of contact, building trusting connections and communicating project updates, difficulties, and solutions
- Create and manage project budgets, timetables, and resource allocation plans to guarantee projects are completed on schedule and under budget
- Address design-related issues and guarantee construction quality by conducting site visits and taking part in construction administration operations.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards, and oversee the preparation and submission of required permits
- Examine and approve the construction documentation, specifications, and material choices to confirm that they are in line with the design intent and acceptable levels of quality.
- Promote innovation and ongoing process improvement within the project management framework, seeking out the potential for increased effectiveness and efficiency.
- To broaden the company's client base and support business development initiatives by taking part in client presentations, proposal drafting, and networking events.
What You Need for this Position
- 10+ Years of Experience in Architectural Design and Project Management
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture
- Professional Architectural License is required
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and project management tools.
- Proven experience managing and completing projects effectively, on schedule, and within budget.
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Thorough familiarity with building systems, details, and construction documents
- Experience in proposal writing and customer relationship management is a plus
- Memberships of pertinent professional organizations (like AIA) is a plus
