Position Overview:

A Sales Engineer is responsible for actively promoting and selling industrial boilers, specifically steam boilers, to potential clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and excellent sales skills to effectively communicate the benefits of our boilers to customers. They must be able to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to fulfill those needs. This role requires a self-motivated individual who can work independently to drive sales and meet targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential clients and actively pursue new business opportunities.
  • Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the benefits of our boilers.
  • Understand client needs and provide customized solutions to meet their specific requirements.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop project proposals and quotes for clients.
  • Negotiate and close sales deals to meet or exceed monthly and annual targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Provide technical support and expertise to clients and address any concerns or issues they may have.
  • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the sales manager.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales or business development role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of boilers, specifically steam boilers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to travel frequently to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
