We are seeking an experienced and motivated Construction Project Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will bring a strong technical background and the ability to collaborate with a wide range of team members in a fast-paced environment. This position involves managing construction projects, acting as the primary contact for communication, and providing technical insight into the requirements of the project. The Construction Project Engineer will report to the Project Manager and collaborate with contractors, sub-contractors, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the overall construction project from start to finish including budgeting, planning, and scheduling
- Act as primary contact for all project-related communication
- Ensure that project goals, deadlines, and quality standards are met
- Maintain project records, prepare reports, and communicate project updates
- Track and manage change orders
- Monitor the progress of the project and troubleshoot any issues
- Manage subcontractors and vendors for the project
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
- Develop and implement solutions to resolve any problems that may arise
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience multifamily and/or commercial construction
- Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and building codes
- Experience with Procore, AutoDesk Build or related software
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficiency in project management software
