Painting/Drywall Laborer Position Overview:
The Painting/Drywall Laborer is responsible for performing a variety of painting and drywall labor tasks on a job site. This position will require the Laborer to work with the foreman, other laborers, and subcontractors to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely and safe manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the installation, repair, and finishing of drywall, tape, texture, and painting on the job site.
Follow specified safety regulations to avoid accidents and injuries.
Load and unload building materials on the job site.
Clean the job site of all debris and dispose of it properly.
Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
Assist in other related tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Previous experience in painting, drywall installation and/or finishing preferred.
Ability to read and understand construction plans and drawings.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.
