We are well known construction specializing in civil projects. We are seeking a skilled Civil Estimator to join our team and contribute to our success in industrial project development. As a Civil Estimator, you will play a crucial role in analyzing project specifications, conducting site evaluations, and preparing accurate cost estimates for civil construction activities related to industrial projects.
Responsibilities
-Review project plans, specifications, and other documentation to understand project scope and requirements.
-Conduct site visits to assess project conditions, potential challenges, and logistical considerations.
-Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to develop detailed cost estimates for civil construction activities, including earthworks, foundations, utilities, and site development.
-Analyze labor, material, and equipment costs to ensure accuracy in estimating project budgets.
-Prepare comprehensive bid proposals and tender documents in accordance with project timelines and requirements.
-Participate in pre-bid meetings, negotiations, and client presentations to communicate project scope, cost breakdowns, and value propositions.
-Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and cost factors to enhance estimating accuracy and competitiveness.
Requirements
-Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
-Proven experience as a Civil Estimator in industrial project environments, with a strong understanding of civil construction processes and methodologies.
-Proficiency in estimating software and tools, such as Bluebeam, HCSS HeavyBid, or similar platforms.
-Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex project documentation and specifications.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.
