Established (40+ years) AM Law 200 Defense Firm Seeking Associate Attorneys in Pasadena, Cerritos, Irvine, and San Diego, CA
An established firm with over 40 years of experience is a leading full-service defense firm specializing in education, government, civil litigation, employment, personal injury, construction, and real estate. The firm is actively seeking Associate Attorneys to join their Pasadena, Cerritos, Irvine, and San Diego offices. These Associates would have 4+ years of experience in L&E law (private or public).
Offer:
$120,000 - $225,000 contingent on experience

Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in labor and employment law
Familiarity with government law topics related to public sector employment (e.g., California's open meeting and public records laws) is a plus
Strong academic credentials from a top 50 law school or in the top 15% of class from a non-top-50 school preferred
California Bar in good standing
Juris Doctorate
Responsibilities:
Managing a caseload involving labor and employment litigation, including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims
Conducting discovery, drafting motions and briefs, and handling depositions
Representing clients in evidentiary hearings, status conferences, dispositive motions, and trial proceedings
Advising on labor relations, collective bargaining, and public sector labor laws
Collaborating on non-litigation work, including investigations, labor arbitrations, and supporting partners in advice and counsel
