Vice President, Finance - Life Sciences / Mfg.

Seeking a Vice President, Finance looking to join a unique medical technology company to help drive achievement of the Company's strategic goals and provide management leadership to the team. This is a startup type environment and strong backing of a strong larger company. 

• An ideal candidate will have at least 12+ years of extensive experience in a high-growth life sciences (or high tech) and manufacturing company experience. This is a key leadership role of diverse responsibilities; general accounting, cost accounting, inventory management, technical accounting (implementing new accounting pronouncements), tax planning (with assistance from outside experts), HR compliance, HR employee issues, budgeting/forecasting, and analysis. 
• Must be a proven leader, in-depth management exp. and a passion for Health and Wellness to improve lives of all our customers.
• Onsite opportunity. Location Irvine, CA area.

-Base salary: @225K-$250K with discretionary bonus program earning up to 30% of base pay upon achievements of company objectives and individual performance.

-An ideal candidate will come with experience within Life Sciences and or High Tech industry, and have the drive for career progression into a CFO position with our great company. 

-Must have sense of humor with "roll up your sleeves", exciting yet hard working individuals required.

-Candidates having core experience, must be a good accountant, and beyond this, someone smart, driven, hard working, creative, and have have a sense of humor. 

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar
  CPA or MBA big plus
  15 years of progressive experience including leadership roles
  SEC Reporting
  US GAAP Accounting Principles
  ERP Systems proficiency
  Proven success building high performance teams
  Project Management 
  Analytical, problem solver with strong communication skills
  High ethical standards of conduct & business
