Located in Raleigh, NC, we are a leading game developer with a specialization in multiplayer games. We have been around for over 25 years, and have developed games on the SEGA Genesis, all the way to massive multiplayer games for PC and consoles. We have 2 studios globally, and are seeing lots of success recently. We are looking to add a team of engineers to help out with a big new project we are developing.
**THIS ROLE REQUIRES ON-SITE WORK IN RALEIGH, NC. RELOCATION ASSISTANCE IS PROVIDED**
What You Will Be Doing
- Develop gameplay features and systems using the Unreal Engine and C++
- Collaborate with Lead Programmer and other programmers on the team
- Produce reliable, efficient, and bug-free code
- Optimize code, and test/fix bugs
- Create compelling gaming experiences by working with game designers, artists, and other engineers
- Mentor more junior level engineers
- Help out with content creation for game development and quality control
What You Need for this Position
- BSCS degree or similar field
- 2+ years Game development experience
- Experience working on shipped titles
- Unreal Engine 4 experience
- C++ expertise
- Math wizard, strong knowledge of vectors, matrices and linear algebra
Nice to have:
- Experience working on games for consoles
- Experience working on multiplayer games
