Job Title: Test Engineer - New product development related to flexible pipe pipe and related materials/components for the oil & gas industry
Location: Baytown, TX
Salary: $95-110K + 10% Bonus

What You Will Be Doing
- Carries out full scale and bench-scale performance evaluation and qualification tests on flexible pipe and related materials/components in accordance with industry standards and company-specific procedures
- Develops procedures for testing where none exist or for adapting procedures to meet new objectives
- Ensures timely completion of testing programs
- Participates as well as directs technicians in the execution of these tests
- Responsible for analysis, interpretation and documentation of test results
What You Need for this Position
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Civil (Structural) Engineering
- 5+/- years of related test experience on flexible pipe and/or related materials and components
- Full scale and bench scale performance evaluation and qualification tests
- Designs test apparatus which may consist of instruments, controls, mechanical, thermal, hydraulic pressure or tensile test systems, or heat transfer systems
- Experience in the use of laboratory test equipment is highly desirable
- Familiar with LabView and SolidWorks is desirable
