What You Need for this Position
- Min. 2 years experience and high school degree with a preference of 2 year college degree and proven experience as a technician in a production environment
- Experience with assembling electro-mechanical and opto-mechanical subassemblies
- Experience preparing cablings. wiring harness per schematics, engineering drawings
- Background working with heat gun, ultrasonic bath cleaner, UV curing light
- Hands on test fixture, test programs
- Hands on experience with UV curing light, ultrasonic bath cleaner, microscope, heat gun
- Using test programs and test fixture for inspection, pre-qualifying incoming optical components, etc.
- Must be a good Team Player and work well with other top notch Engineers in a growing startup environment
What You Will Be Doing
- Product & Development work, assembling electro-mechanical & opto-mechanical subassemblies
- Using UV curing lights, ultrasonic bath cleaner, microscope. heat gun
- Using test fixture, test programs to inspect & prequalify new optical components (i.e. mirror, lenses, laser diodes, diffraction gratings
- This is a hands on role - must be willing & wanting to get hands dirty in the lab
- Thinking creatively to solve tough problems, finding solutions
- Working in a fast-paced startup environment building incredible futuristic life-saving products!
