The Role:
The basic function of the Superintendent is to effectively coordinate administrative efforts with the field efforts. The Superintendent manages the Crew Leaders. The Superintendent oversees the jobs in progress to ensure that they are on schedule, meets budget both with labor and materials, and monitors each jobs Safety record. The Superintendent and Project Manager work together to schedule material and labor with other departments such as the sheet metal work is coordinated with the Sheet Metal Superintendent. The Superintendent will be in constant contact with the Project Manager to ensure the jobs run on schedule and under budget, and all information needed by the Foremen is provided in a timely manner.
What You Will Be Doing
-Read and understand field books with various construction job scopes of work, plans, and specifications to be able to properly plan out jobs and perform work accordingly within schedules and budgets.
-Attend and participate in Pre-construction meetings.
-Establish lines of communication with external and internal customers (GCs, Building Owners, Owners Representatives, Consultants, Project Managers, Accounting, -Operations, Field Personnel, Etc.) before, during, and after job completion.
-Promote best practices for commercial roofing work and provide on-the-job training as needed.
-Comply with and support company Safety Policies and Procedures.
-Ensure jobs are completed in the most efficient and most cost-effective manner.
-Recruit, train, mentor, and retain the dependable and knowledgeable workforce.
What You Need for this Position

What's In It for You
-2-3+ yrs of commercial roofing experience.
-Experience in various roofing systems - single ply, bur, modified bitumen, metal, coatings, etc.
-Ability to read and understand blueprints.
-Detailed-oriented, good communication skills, strong organizational skills are required.
-Ability to multitask on various tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
-Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
-Ability to travel and manage job sites.
-Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
