Job Title: Staff Data Engineer
Salary: $180k - $225k
Job Location: Primarily remote but we would prefer someone who can commute to Irvine a few times / month
Requirements: 8+ years of data engineering experience. We would like to see a background with large scale distributed applications, AWS, etc. ML, Python, etc. is desired

What You Will Be Doing
- Develop and maintain large scale / real time events in AWS environment
- Develop scalable data stores
- Work with data scientists/software engineers on development and deployment of ML
What You Need for this Position
- 8+ years data engineering experience
- 5+ years working with large data sets / distributed applications
- MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Kafka, etc.
- Python (or Java, scala, etc.)
- AWS/RedShift
- SQL
- Machine Learning / Deep Learning is desired
- BS (or Masters) in Math, CS, etc. is desired
