We are looking to add a senior member to our technical staff who has 5G Core/EPC Network, Advanced LTE communications expertise.
We are a research-focused startup focused on bringing emerging technologies in the advanced communications space to market.
In this role, you will be responsible who will be responsible for developing features that improve the efficiency of 5G Core and 4G Evolved Packet Core (EPC) Network architecture and signaling protocols.

What You Will Be Doing
- Provide patentable solutions for implementation of new features in 5G and LTE-Advanced systems and NAS layer.
- Research and optimization of the 5G Core and EPC Network architecture and optimization of its services.
- Development of novel enhanced algorithms to introduce new functionalities and signaling for 5G Core and UE.
What You Need for this Position
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with 3-7 years of R&D experience
- 5G/LTE Advanced Core Network Technologies Space
- EPC Network
- Relevant network protocols, V2X, ProSe, IoT, 5G/LTE/WLAN Interworking, Network Slice, CUPS, MCPTT, VoLTE, SRVCC, DRVCC
- IMS, broadcast/multicast, policy and charging systems
- Experience analyzing and implementing 3GPP LTE-Advanced and 5G Core Network specs
- 3GPP standard organization active contributor - SA2 or CT1
- Simulation/optimization of wireless systems, protocol layer design, and network signaling
