Job Location: Syracuse, NY
Compensation: $150K - $200K+ DOE

What You Will Be Doing
- Develop GaN MOCVD epitaxial growth processes which enable novel power transistor architecture and performance.
- Develop MOCVD growth processes in an R&D environment with the longer-range goals of delivering sustainable processes to a production environment
- Contribute to the creation of an agile and robust MOCVD operation, establishing sustainable operation and maintenance practices and protocols (including documentation and training of technical staff)
- Perform characterization through various techniques (ECV, morphology scans etc).
- Troubleshoot and fix any growth-related issues which caused yield or reliability.
- Enable next generation device architectures through new growth recipes.
- Transfer process know-how to manufacturing by creating SOPs and training fab operators.
- Implement process monitoring through SPC.
What You Need for this Position
Ph.D. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Material Science or related field with 5+ Years experience
- MOCVD Growth
- GaN Epitaxial Wafer Growth
- Power Devices, Transistors, or similar III-V devices
- Characterization
- Process Development/ Process Integration
