Position - AWS Solutions Architect
Pay - $155k - $195k (DOE)
Location - Irvine, hybrid candidates must be able to work a minimum of 2 days a week in the office
Key Skills - At least 4 years of professional experience working with AWS and successfully managing and moving proprietary applications into AWS

Based in Irvine, CA, 0ur client is a successful and privately owned medical device manufacturer. This company was created over 30+ years and is currently a leader in it's respective industry. Due to company growth and in addition to modernizing it's IT Architecture they are currently seeking a Solutions Architect to join there team.
The ideal candidate must have previous experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure and Cloud architecture best practices. If you have these qualifications and experience please read on!
What You Will Be Doing
Manage proprietary applications into the cloud
Participate in the establishment of an IT Architecture practice and the adoption of an architecture and standards methodology.
Develop business relationships with other department leaders to integrate security activities and to ensure successful implementation and support of security projects.
Develop departmental roadmaps and project portfolios for solutions to IT systems architecture.
Partner with Technical Leads and stakeholders to analyze current systems architecture and develop solutions based on the enterprise's strategic business or technical requirements. Ensures solutions meet align with the standards guidelines of technology solutions.
What You Need for this Position
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Engineering; Masters degree, a plus.
5+ years years of software development experience.
4+ years of previous experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure and Cloud architecture best practices.
Previous experience using scripting and programming languages and tools such as Python, Ansible, and Shell.
Previous experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes and concepts using relevant technologies and tools ( e.g., Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, GitLab).
Current knowledge of using programming/scripting knowledge related to application development and databases (e.g., Mongo, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL).
Current knowledge with DevOps container/orchestration tools (Docker, ECS).
