What You Will Be Doing
The Software Engineer will be primarily working on the development of automated testing and testing frameworks. Other responsibilities to include:
- Development on dedicated company platforms
- Development on mobile platforms for external devices interacting with our hardware
- Contribute to all phases of SDLC process
- Create new test frameworks and applications to run automated tests for medical device software
- Create algorithms
- Contribute to existing test frameworks, tools, design, maintenance, and procedures
- Review documentation/code from other engineers in C#, C++, Java
- Ensure tests conform to requirements
What You Need for this Position
Qualified candidates will posses as much of the following as possible:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or relevant STEM field
- 2+ yrs of professional software development experience (with an emphasis on automated testing)
- Advanced development experience using C# and/or Java
- Professional experience with configuration management
- Professional experience with test management
- Professional experience with defect tracking tools
Special consideration for candidates with:
- Previous medical device/microelectronics development experience
- Previous experience in highly regulated environments (FDA, ISO, etc)
- Previous experience with NUnit, HP ALM, MKS Source Integrity, MKS Integrity Manager, ReSharper
- Familiarity with mobile automation frameworks like Appium or ADB
- Familiarity with relevant web technologies and databases (preferably NoSQL)
- Familiarity with cross-platform mobile development (Xamarin)
- Previous experience with MS Visual Studio, Git, and/or TFS
- Previous experience with Android, iOS, and Windows mobile environments
