What You Will Be Doing
We are seeking Service Desk Technician who will be in charge of helping our staff on all IT related problems.
Responsibilities:
-Serve as the initial point of contact for internal clients requesting technical support through phone, email, or in person.
-Conduct remote troubleshooting using diagnostic methods and relevant queries
-Based on the problem and the information supplied by the clients, choose the best solution.
-Take the client on a tour of the troubleshooting steps.
-Send unsolved problems to the next tier of support staff
-Give precise details on IT goods or services.
-Follow up with clients, provide status updates, and information
-Keep track of events, issues, and how they were resolved via service tickets.
-Send any consumer comments or recommendations to the relevant internal team.
-Determine and make recommendations for process improvements
What You Need for this Position
-Experience as a Service Desk Technician
-Experience with troubleshooting and help desk support.
-Understanding of how to troubleshoot the Apple Mac OS and Microsoft Windows operating systems
-Familiarity with mobile devices from Apple and Android
-Excellent communication skills
-Customer-focused
-In-office (downtown Chicago)
