What You Will Be Doing

You will have the unique opportunity to work hand-in -hand with all engineering disciplines. Reporting directly to the CTO you will be an integral part in the development of new optical metrology and test products for the optics production and assembly market. You will be fully immersed in applied engineering, the physics of electro-optical devices, surface metrology, automated position systems and software development.

What You Need for this Position

REQUIRED
- M.S. in Physics, Optics or Applied Engineering
- Sold background in math and coding in MATLAB
- Proven prototype development and hands-on lab skills
- Good communication skills
- Experience integrating sensors with automated posting systems
- Hands-on experience with tools for optical testing, alignment, metrology and imaging
- In-depth understanding of motion control algorithms and experience with programming motion control application software tools

NICE TO HAVE
- PhD in Physics, Optics or Applied Engineering
- Working knowledge of Zemax and SolidWorks is strongly preferred
