Your contributions will be EXTREMELY significantWhat You Will Be Doing
Design, develop, and implement backend components, deployment infrastructure, APIs, and communication protocols.
Participate and lead code reviews to ensure highest level of quality is achieved.
Support devops infrastructure, automated builds, deployments, etc.
Work alongside of, and report directly to our Chief Product Officer and CEO to carry out business needs.
Actively mentor developers who are more junior than yourself.What You Need for this Position
BSCS or equivalent technical degree preferred
5 to 7+ years of hands-on development experience (backend development experience preferred)
Expert-level experience in one or more of the following programming languages: Node.js, Golang, Python, Java, Scala, Rust, Ruby, or C++
Experience with relational DBs and NoSQL DBs like Redis, MongoDB, Firebase, etc.
Experience with cloud services in AWS or GCP, especially serverless hosting
Nice to have:
Experience leading small teams, or a strong desire to move into a leadership position role
Hands-on DevOps experience, or experience with Infrastructure-As-Code
Experience with Neo4J, or similar graph databases
Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jasmine, Mocha, or similarWhat's In It for You
