Title: Senior RF Electrical Design Engineer
Location: St. Petersburg, FL 33716 (client has agreed to help with relocation for this role)
Salary: $95,000 - $105,000/year (Check below for reasons why this is a great deal)!!
Requirements: hands on circuit board RF design, board level KA frequencies (26.5 - 40 GHZ) and testing of high frequency RF/microwave components
We are a 100 employee satellite terminal manufacturer whose engineering department has doubled in the last 12 months. We have a ton of work and are eagerly looking to hire a Sr. Engineer for this position. We've been around since 1983 and are planning big things for 2021.

What You Will Be Doing
1) Design / simulate a variety of analog and radio frequency (RF) circuitry
2) Create schematics and lead the PCB Designer to create documentation to build the printed wiring assembly
3) Set-up, operate & calibrate RF and electrical test equipment and perform measurements on prototype circuits, subassemblies and modules
4) Troubleshoot problems that are engineering based, resolve the issues and create documentation changes that leads to fix the issue
5) Write technical documents i.e. test procedures, test datasheets, technical memoranda for reporting any technical issues
6) Lead the RF/electrical product design team in the development of new products / enhance performance of existing products
7) Lead design engineers to verify product performance vs. predictions for prototype products and production hardware products
What You Need for this Position
1) Bachelors in Electrical / Computer / relevant engineering discipline
2) 10+ years experience in detailed design, analysis and test of high frequency RF/microwave components commonly used in satellite communication
3) Detailed design synthesis & analysis of RF/microwave circuits, high-frequency software simulation tools, network analyzers and spectrum analyzers
4) Experience in design of DC bias circuits and DC power supplies (This is a plus)
