We are a regional commercial HVAC company with customers in MA, NH, and RI. As we grow we are in need of a senior project manager to manage large commercial HVAC installations. You will serve as the face of our organization to our clients which include both GC's and owners as you work to manage their projects and generate new business.
What You Will Be Doing
-Interact with clients (owners and general contractors) and generate business
- Accurately estimate costs associated with construction projects and generate quotations
- Read, understand, and estimate costs associated with construction projects
- Coordinate project manage and oversee execution of construction projects in accordance with plans, specifications, and design build write up
- Generate HVAC load estimate
- Understanding and ability to use AutoCAD
- Coordinate with construction manager to schedule construction technicians to meet required project deadlines
- Responsible for ownership of project including coordinating with client, attending on site construction meetings, ordering equipment and subcontractors, scheduling work and tracking costs
- Meeting construction schedule and customers requirements
What You Need for this Position
-Graduate Mechanical Engineer (BSME)
- Background in HVAC through schooling or field experience
- Current drivers license and clean driving record
- Excellent understanding of HVAC design, systems, equipment, ductwork, piping, electrical, and controls
- Excellent organizational skills
- Outgoing personality and ability to build relationships and work with others (customers and co-workers)
- Above average understanding of installation and service of refrigeration, water, and steam piping system
- Ability to effectively estimate costs required to complete work
- Understanding of basic cost accounting for construction projects
- Self starter and ability to handle multiple responsibilities and constantly prioritize tasks
- Understanding of construction industry and other trades
- Ability to read, interpret, and execute plans and specifications
- Ability to safely operate a vehicle
