Based in Lynnwood, WA, we are an established, successful healthcare company looking to bring on a talented Senior Network Engineer to join our team in a mission-critical role. This person helps lead the Networking team in providing a robust, fault-tolerant, digital infrastructure for our business and communication requirements, ensuring uninterrupted patient care and staff productivity. Provides network support, guidance, and project management for internal and external customers to ensure goals, tasks, timelines, and costs are met by appropriately applying the Networking team resources.
What You Will Be Doing
- Budgeting: Provides Network budget, including capital and recurring expenses.
- Customer Service: Develops customer server-level agreements (SLA's) and proactively seeks recommendations on
improvements to the SLA.
- Leadership: Provides effective leadership over IT Networking team through effective communication and fostering an
environment of open and honest communication.
- Prioritization: Ensures that competing priorities are balanced so that Network resources are used in the most effective manner
possible.
- Security: Oversees/implements Network security strategy as directed by Director of IT.
- Staff Development: Encourages professional development by offering additional responsibilities and training when
appropriate.
- Training: Provides staff training on Network emergency (on-call) support, ensuring a dynamic and well-trained team to support
our company 24x7.
- Wide/Local Area Networks: Designs, implements and oversees monitoring and ongoing maintenance of the digital
infrastructure.
What You Need for this Position
*Scripting experience is highly preferred!
*Systems or DevOps experience is a plus.
*Someone who is passionate about what they do and has building hobbies outside of work is a huge plus.

Knowledge of:
VoIP Install and Support
IDS/IPS Systems
Networking Monitoring Software Packages
Prior Experience: Minimum 8 years in the IT networking field, with 5 of those years managing and troubleshooting a complex
LAN/WAN environment with 10 or more sites.
