What You Will Be Doing
You will support the design, development, integration, and data migration tasks required to modernize legacy systems for one of our larger clients in the Springfield, VA area. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include modernizing the system using industry best practices, standards and agile development processes, while using open source software solutions with cutting-edge coding methodologies and DevOps tools and techniques. You will be working with several languages including Java, JavaScript, Python and C++, and will be responsible for distributing computing platforms (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), micro-services, and container technologies while maintaining agile development processes, tools and methodologies.
What You Need for this Position
Must have 7+ years experience with:
- Linux
- Java / J2EE
- Scrum / Jira
- CI/CD, Jenkins, GitLab
- JUnit
- Open Source Technologies (AWS, Azure, Apache, Oracle, Docker, NiFi)
- Elasticsearch / PostgreSQL
- IaaS / PaaS / SaaS
- SOA Technologies (image processing, geospatial, simulation)
- Object Oriented Programming
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related Engineering discipline is required.
Active TS/SCI security clearance required (subject to CI polygraph).
