What You Will Be Doing
- Provide significant design input to the overall product vision
- Collaborate with the design team to build new gameplay content
- Write technical documentation for designers, artists, other engineers, and eventual users
- Identify and estimate specific tasks within the project goals
- Coordinate with the lead engineer to mentor and review the engineering teams work
- Proactively identify technical risks and provide solutions to ensure success of new features and systems
- Analyze and provide solutions for performance issues
- Work with artists and designers to implement new gameplay systems.
What You Need for this Position
- 5+ years programming in Unity using C#
- Experience with Git or equivalent source control systems
- Strong 3D math skills including quaternions
Preferred Skills Include:
- Multiplayer programming experience, especially within Unity, especially with NGO
- Created modding tools, level editors, or any other form of UGC tooling
- Samples of completed Unity game projects you have directly contributed to
- Significant experience with Javascript
- Experience with dynamically loaded content in general
- Experience with Unity's Asset Bundles
- Experience with Unity'sAddressables
- Experience supporting a live service
