Job Title: Senior Firmware Engineer
Job Location: Austin, TX (in-office)
Job Salary: $120-140K DOE (benefits, PTO, retirement plan, etc.)
Requirements:
1.) Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or related field).
2.) 5+ years recent professional experience with firmware engineering in embedded systems.
3.) Experience with RS-485/RS-422, CAN, and/or AS9100 is highly preferred, but not required.

What You Will Be Doing
- Collaborating with hardware engineering to design, develop, and implement electronic hardware architecture (design review and firmware impact assessment).
- Developing detailed system performance models using MATLAB/SIMULINK (or equivalent).
- Performing validation/verification.
What You Need for this Position
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or related field).
- 5+ years recent professional experience with firmware engineering in embedded systems.
- Experience with RS-485/RS-422, CAN, and/or AS9100 is highly preferred, but not required.

- C/Assembly
- MTBF/FTA
- DSP/FPGA
