What You Will Be Doing
- Develop new pipelines in conjunction with Product Engineering and Release Management, to ship code faster and more frequently
- Design and implement systems or solutions with a high degree of quality, a focus on redundancy/fault tolerance, and useful documentation
- Participate in blameless post-mortems, to provide root-cause analysis and implement preventative measures that reduce the possibility of recurrence
- Working with and presenting to teammates in multiple career stages, including senior leadership
- Create and manage container monitoring and alerting, and develop runbooks for remediation
- Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation in accordance with the company's Policies and Procedures
What You Need for this Position
Must Have Skills:
- 5+ years experience in DevOps, SRE and/or Platform Engineering
- 3+ yrs of Kubernetes design and administration
- 3+ yrs of AWS Experience
- Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Experience with EKS
- Experience with Terraform / AgroCD / Linkerd
Preferred Certifications:
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
- Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect
- AWS Certified Developer
- Experience with Active Directory administration, specifically understanding of Kerberos authentication and domain SPNs
