Our client is a global, US-based company that helps contact centers around the world better engage with their customers. Our offices are in Boston, MA, Kansas City, MO, Chennai, India and Manila, Philippines. We are building cloud-based analytics products and services to enhance the end-to-end customer journey via omnichannel engagement (voice, email, SMS, chat and conversational AI) and to optimize agent performance.
What You Will Be Doing
- Have ownership of key parts of the technical stack and be responsible for their SLAs
- Contribute to knowledge sharing within the organization, participate in recruiting, and mentor other team members
- Develop a deep understanding of the product roadmap for the team, including future features to be developed
- Contribute to high-level estimation and participate in laying out the development sequences, challenging the product roadmap and identifying areas where technical debt can be reduced or avoided
- Complete independently complex development tasks and actively contribute to pushing code to production
- Write testable, efficient, and reusable code suitable for continuous integration and deployment, respecting best practices and Perch development standards
- Contribute to cross-squad initiatives, acting as a change agent amongst peers to foster adoption of new processes or technical solutions
What You Need for this Position
- A degree in a technical field and 5+ years of experience in Functional or Object Oriented programming
- 3+ years of experience writing and optimizing SQL queries
- Expertise with data modeling, an advanced understanding data architecture, and RDBMS and NoSQL databases at scale (AWS Redshift preferred)
- Experience with Apache Airflow or other similar data pipelining and workflow scheduling framework (Luigi, Azkaban, Prefect)
- Expertise in data modeling and an advanced understanding of data architecture
- A highly analytical and detail oriented approach with a solution-oriented mindset and can-do attitude
- A sense of accountability and ownership for both solutions and team growth
- Experience with cloud resources, DevOps, CI/CD, Big Data technologies, and more (Preferred)
